Early materials and first production Pals: capture Incineram
Head west from the Small Settlement to the neighboring peninsula. Capture Incineram and Leezpunk at the Rayne Syndicate NPC encounter to cover key early-game work roles.
Is this the problem you have?
When there is a shortage of fire, mining, crafting and transportation in the early stage, which Pal is worth going out of your way to catch?
Quick answer
Version 1.0 essential: head to the peninsula due west of the Small Settlement, near coordinates -6, -499. Let the Rayne Syndicate NPC summon Incineram or Leezpunk, then lower its HP and capture it. This is an NPC encounter, not a regular wild habitat.

Why did you specifically catch Incineram in the early stage?
Incineram is not a single-purpose combat Pal. The site's 1.0 data layer records Kindling Lv3, Mining Lv3, Handiwork Lv2 and Transporting Lv2; while a starter base is short-handed, one of these fills several production gaps at once. That is why this guide files it under early materials rather than a Pal ranking.
Its value is to allow minerals, smelting, production and transportation to form a closed loop faster, but it does not mean that all players must use it as their permanent main force. It can be replaced later when a more specialized or more adaptable Pal becomes available.
The event point is directly west of the Small Settlement and is not a general habitat.
Starting from the Small Settlement fast travel point, go due west to the mountain road on the adjacent peninsula; the target coordinates are approximately -6, -499 (some sources record -8, -496 — the same event area). Two Rayne Syndicate members appear here: one can summon
Leezpunk, and the other can summon Incineram.
The official Pal habitat map does not label this as a Incineram general habitat area because it is released by a humanoid NPC. The event may be affected by refresh and world state; if you don't see it after arriving, leave the area first and come back later. Don't mistake a lack of refresh as a location error.
Capture order: let the NPC release Pal first
Don't kill NPCs as soon as you get close. First confirm that the opponent has entered the battle and summon Pal, then focus on Incineram or Leezpunk. If your team's damage is too high, take back the Pal first to avoid accidentally killing the event target.
This group of enemies is about the level that can be dealt with early on, but Incineram's attacks can still knock an under-equipped beginners to the ground. Bring enough Pal Spheres, food, repairable shields/armor, and a pal that can withstand the first round of attacks; if that fails, withdraw the small tribal supplies first.
After capturing the base, look at the functions first and don’t rush to chase the passives.
After putting Incineram into the base, first observe which gap it fills: furnace ignition, mineral collection, workbench crafting, or item transportation. If there is too much work happening at the same time, use a monitoring station or reposition the facility to prevent it from switching back and forth between tasks.
In the early stage, there is no need to passively brush this event repeatedly for perfection. First grab the working individuals and run the material chain; wait until the Spheres, equipment and transmission network are stable, then consider grabbing and selecting more.
Common mistakes
Treating the coordinates as Incineram to fix the wild nest, killing the NPC first resulting in no summons, hitting hard even if there are not enough Spheres, and accidentally killing with your own Pal, are the most common failures of this route.
Another mistake is to only see the combat power of Incineram without arranging short-term movement and clear work for it. High job suitability can still be offset by jamming, boxes that are too far away, or task conflicts.
Next step after completion
IncineramAfter obtaining it, return to the base to sort out the locations of smelting, minerals, workbench and boxes; if the capture itself is still unstable, read the capture failure strategy. If you want to expand the exploration radius, go to the early mount strategy.
Common mistakes
- Make NPC summoning events an official general habitat.
- Knock out the NPC before they release Pal.
- Only look at the strength of Incineram, and do not arrange the short-term moving lines and work of the base.
