The number of bases has an upper limit and can be increased with progress; buildings outside the circle will age.

Detailed description

The rules of the current version (according to the v0.7.3 baseline): There is an upper limit on the number of bases that can be established, which increases with progress. The community is organized into a default maximum of 4, and the upper limit can be raised further in the world setting (the value is subject to the game kernel); buildings built outside the base will wear out (aging) over time, and the wear rate is an adjustable item in the world setting. Therefore, before expanding the production line, confirm the base location plan first, and do not leave key facilities outside the circle. 1.0 Whether to adjust the upper limit and aging rules has not been disclosed, waiting for T0 setting to be verified.

Judge your situation first

what do you want to do nowJudgment methodNext step
To expand the baseFirst confirm the upper limit of the number of bases and the aging of the buildings outside the circle, and then decide whether to open another functional base.See technology tracking
Want to build facilities outside the circleBuildings outside the circle will age, and key facilities should not be placed in locations that cannot be protected.See the world and set the context
Want to raise the limitThe world sets an adjustable base limit, but the value needs to be checked in the game and cannot be written as a fixed commitment.See setting notes

Operation sequence

orderaction
1First list the existing base tasks to determine whether there are insufficient functions or insufficient number of bases.
2Keep key production lines within the base circle; place only expendable or rebuildable facilities outside the circle.
3Back up the world settings before adjusting them and record the original values.
4After 1.0, check whether the base limit and aging rules have changed.

Common misunderstandings

Misunderstandingwhy to avoid
Treat community values as permanent rulesBase caps and world settings may change depending on the version.
Put key assets outside the circleAging or damage will cause the production line to break.
Only look at the number of bases and not the loadThe more bases there are, the higher the server performance and management costs.
