Sunset Sands
The first sandy area. Before setting off, make heat-resistant metal armor at level 25 (the defense is higher than ordinary metal armor; when you don’t have underwear, you can only make the heat-resistant version, which is red; the cold-resistant version is white). This area is densely populated with monsters and poaching groups, and they often attract a large number of them in the middle of a fight. Survival is the priority. Explore along the edges, don't go in the middle. You must bring a fire-attributed paru (Yama Sheep/Wind Cut Dragon) on the field at night, otherwise the low temperature will continue to cause blood loss until death (the same applies to high temperature).

Explore routes
- Before setting off, go back to the depths of the bamboo forest/Cui Bamboo Valley to make leather, and pick up some night-specific monsters (Moon Demon) along the way; make heat-resistant metal armor.
- Jump from the teleport point into the Sunset Sands and catch new monsters along the edge: Bomb Bird, Escape Rat, Volt Mew, Papanian, Rock Breaker Turtle, and AM Zero.
- Bring the fire-based pallu at night, and catch Buaixi, the only one who brushes at night.
- Go back to the terminal and rearrange the work pallu: Rock Breaker Turtle → Mining, Papa Year → Herding, Thunder Wildebeest → Power Generation, Not Aishi → Pharmaceutical.

Key points and pitfalls
- There are two advantages to exploring at night: you can see the green leaf rat statue clearly, and it does high damage to sleeping monsters.
- Monsters are densely packed and there are many poaching groups. If you kill them in half, they will easily lead to a bunch of monsters. Survival is the priority. Poaching groups also often fight with wild monsters and let them pick up things after killing them.
- Thunderboys can be found in desert areas.
