30 words direct answer

If you want a complete new experience, open a new file; re-invest and be reluctant to renew the old file + Global Palbox.

Detailed description

This is a trade-off, not right or wrong. The official confirmed that the old file can be replayed and the progress will be continued. It is also recommended to open a new file to get the complete 1.0 experience - because the World Tree, new area, new story, and redone tower master feel the most complete in the new process. If there are a large number of high-investment Pals/bases in the old file that you are reluctant to part with, you can renew the old file; if you want to keep some of them but also want to open a new one, use Global Palbox to bring key Pals into the new world (transfer details are pending in T0-02). Whichever you choose, make a full backup of your old files first—this step is risk-free.

Operation sequence

orderaction
1Read the 1.0 hub page first to distinguish between public information and waiting fields.
2List the old files, Pals you want to keep, server settings and Mods separately.
3Use the Global Palbox page to determine if a new file + selected Pal transfer is required.
4After T0, conclusions will only be written based on official patch notes, data extraction, or verifiable testing.
