Global Palbox Transfer Rules
This page separates "Restart New File" and "Keep Part of Pal". The existence of functionality does not mean that every world, every server, and every special individual will be transferred painlessly.
Conclusion read first
Single-player players first confirm which Pals they want to keep; private server players first ask the server owner whether import/export is enabled; special individuals and marking behaviors will be checked after 1.0.
Data layer anchor point
| Hierarchy | content | border |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm information | There are two switches, bAllowGlobalPalboxExport and bAllowGlobalPalboxImport, in the official server docs (currently 0.7.2) configuration table, which control the Global Palbox export/import of the dedicated server. | It is unknown whether 1.0 will be renamed or the default value will be changed; 1.0 switching behavior may not be prewritten. |
| Strategy inference | It is highly possible to bring the old world Pallu into the 1.0 new world through Global Palbox: the current version already has cross-world capabilities, and the official direction of undocumenting is consistent. | Import/export needs to be enabled on both ends of the private server; it is unknown whether there are restrictions on the official server and the new world. Counterexample: 1.0 may close the import of new worlds (to prevent crushing at the beginning), or set restrictions on special individuals (highly cultivated entities, limited activities). |
Four identities, four paths
| who are you | What can the current version do? | 1.0 front boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Single player | Global Palbox supports cross-world access; new file + selected Pal transfer is a compromise path already available in the current version. | It is unknown whether there are any restrictions on the import of the new world in 1.0, waiting for T0-02 to verify. |
| Private server players | Whether you can export/import is determined by two switches on the server. Ask the server owner first and don't assume it is available. | Server owners may disable it; 1.0 switch defaults may change. |
| server master | Determine the import/export switch in the settings; the switch value will affect player restart strategy and fairness. | Record the current value before upgrading, and do setting diff (setting difference) according to the new version of docs after 1.0. |
| special individual holder | Make a list first, test a small amount first, don’t make a large transfer at once. | The transfer behavior of special marks and sources will be checked one by one after T0, and safety is not promised in advance. |
Server Master Switch: Two settings that control transfer
| switch | function | 1.0 boundary |
|---|---|---|
bAllowGlobalPalboxExport(Export allowed) | Controls whether a dedicated server's Pal can be exported to Global Palbox. | 1.0 It is unknown whether to change the name or default value; record the current value before upgrading. |
bAllowGlobalPalboxImport(Import allowed) | Controls whether Global Palbox's Pal can be imported into a dedicated server. | Same as above; the two switches are independent. If only one side is turned on, "can be stored but not taken out" will appear or vice versa. |
Which ones are considered special individuals: Make a list first, then check them one by one after T0
| Type | Why list it separately? | What to do now |
|---|---|---|
| Events/Limited Sources Pal | The source is non-renewable, and actions that move out of bounds cannot be repeated. | Included in the waiting list; not transferred or only tested in small quantities before T0-02. |
| Special Mark/Title Individual | Whether markers are retained after being transferred across worlds has not been verified. | First take a screenshot to record the current situation, and compare it after the transfer. |
| Individuals with high nurturing investment | The individual value, passive and concentrated investment are high, and the loss cost is the highest. | Last batch transfer; verify process with low value Pal first. |
Check order before transfer
| order | Check items | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm the world type: single player, friend server, public and private server. | The available switches are different from the administrative permissions. |
| 2 | List the Pals you want to keep and mark them as normal/cultivated/special sources. | Special individuals cannot commit to safe transfer in advance before T0. |
| 3 | Confirm whether import/export is allowed. | The existence of the function does not mean that the server is turned on. |
| 4 | Test in small quantities first, then transfer in large quantities. | Avoid amplifying unknown boundaries into irreversible problems at once. |
