FAQ detail

Why isn’t there a 1.0 Best Base ranking?

Before the map and resource points are determined, ranking will only create false certainty.

The job of the FAQ is to answer questions directly and then direct players to tools, cheat cards, or information pages that can complete the task.

30 words direct answer

Before the map and resource points are determined, ranking will only create false certainty.

Detailed description

The best base ranking requires maps, resource points, movement routes, invasion behaviors, server conditions and version data, which are all unstable before 1.0. There is no promise even for "home-building points that will not be invaded": invasions have triggers and path conditions, and community experience indicates that some high platforms or closed points are less likely to be attacked. However, this is the experience of the current version, and the mechanism and map may change in 1.0. The site only provides conditional judgments (resource chain bottlenecks, work suitability, performance factors) and does not rank players.

Judge your situation first

what do you want to do nowJudgment methodNext step
Looking for a place to build a home that is “not invaded”There is no promised no invasion point; community experience means that some high platforms/closed points are less likely to be attacked, but that is the experience of the current version, not a mechanical guarantee.See conditional description
Want 1.0 Best Base RecommendationMaps, resource points, intrusion behavior and performance conditions are not stable, and ranking will only create false certainty; use conditionalization to determine site selection first.Look at the resource chain
Base efficiency or performance issuesFirst determine whether it is a production line bottleneck (resource chain/work suitability) or performance degradation (building density/number of visible Pals).See the performance risk box

Operation sequence

orderaction
1Determine the base mission first: mining, agriculture, animal husbandry, production or transit, and the mission determines the site selection weight.
2Select resource coverage based on resource chain bottlenecks, and do not copy operations based on other people's "best spots."
3Consider intrusions and paths: closed terrain reduces intrusions but also affects Pal’s working paths, so look at both sides.
4After 1.0, wait for the map and resource point data to be stored in the database, and then see if the site provides conditional candidates.

Common misunderstandings

Misunderstandingwhy to avoid
Use community points as a mechanism guarantee"Be less invaded" is the experience of the current version; invasion behavior and maps may change in 1.0.
Bring old version points into 1.0Resource points, terrain and invasion conditions may be rearranged, and old points must be re-verified.
Sacrificing production lines to prevent intrusionFully enclosed terrain is often accompanied by Palka paths; the benefits of preventing intrusion may not be greater than the loss of production capacity.
