Ring damage control and wild scattering techniques
The ring (a capture ring that leaves a drop of blood) is a damage control switch throughout the whole process: wearing it to fight monsters will leave a little blood for the enemy, which is convenient for harvesting with a palu or catching it by throwing a ball; remember to take it off first when you want to kill the target directly. Common wilderness skills scattered throughout each episode are included here.
Main points
- The default process of wearing the ring is to wear it all the time when exploring and capturing, beat the monster until there is a little blood left for Palu to harvest, or replenish the ball to capture it yourself.
- When to take off the ring: In battles where you only want to kill, such as invasions, wanted criminals, and clearing out monsters, take off the ring before taking action (especially with high-damage weapons such as meteorite launchers/bazookas); forgetting to take it off will result in the enemy being unable to kill with a drop of health left.
- Reverse lesson: If you forget to "bring" the ring, one shot will kill the monster you want to catch - make sure the ring is in your hand before throwing the ball.
- It is also possible to fight the berserk monster with the ring: the final blow is left to the Pallu, and the Predator Core and the Soul of the Pallu will drop as usual.
- Temperature equipment: Prepare heat-resistant equipment before going to the Higurashi Sands. The same set can directly pass through the small volcano area with the claw marks of war. The blueprints of the cold-resistant Palu metal armor are from airdrops. The defense power and health bonus are higher than ordinary metal armor. This level cannot be unlocked from technology and can only rely on blueprints.
- Egg hatching temperature: Add a bonfire next to the incubator to keep the eggs warm according to the needs of the eggs. If the temperature is overheated, remove the bonfire. When the temperature reaches the standard, the hatching speed can reach up to 100%.
- Picking up ammunition in the wild: Pistol bullets are often found on the ground when exploring, and low-quality ammunition is dropped by poaching groups. Pick up more when you see it to save production capacity for pistols/shotguns in the later stage.
- Wandering merchants replenish scarce materials: Small-scale settlement merchants can buy bones and power-generating organs with gold coins (in the later period, bones can be solved with grazing tools, and power-generating organs still need to be purchased); wheat seeds can also be bought from bear settlement merchants (100 gold coins each).
Error-prone and supplementary
- Magma seems to have no harm to fire-attributed parlu such as fire unicorns and lava beasts; when riding and flying through the magma area, pay attention to your endurance and don't fall.
