Breakpoint catch-up
Catch-up: you left before Crossplay
You missed crossplay and the Global Palbox — the two changes that rewrote the ground rules for moving accounts, saves and Pals around. Tides, Home Sweet Home and 1.0 still sit between you and the current build.
do three things first
- Confirm archiving and Global Palbox policies.
- Check whether the job suitability and resource chain are unfamiliar.
- Add important Pals to the illustrated guide for tracking.
Catch-up checklist
| system | What you need to remember again | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Crossplay | Since v0.5.0 you can play together across platforms. Work out how your platform and your friends' line up, and how you'll connect. | open |
| Global Palbox | Depositing and withdrawing Pals across worlds became standard in this version — it's the bridge that lets you restart without throwing away what you raised. | open |
| Server toggles | Whether the server admin allows import/export decides outright whether you can bring your Pals across. | open |
| The versions after that | Tides, Home Sweet Home and 1.0 are still ahead of you — use the version timeline to decide what order to take them in. | open |

Save/reopen condition enumeration
| situation | Suggestions | what not to do |
|---|---|---|
| You want the full 1.0 story | Start a fresh save, and use the Global Palbox to carry over the Pals you can't bear to leave behind. | Don't read "old saves still work" as a promise that continuing one will walk you through the reworked main story and tower bosses at their intended pace. |
| I just want to keep the results of cultivation | Just continue your old save: the official changelog confirms v0.7.3 and earlier saves carry over, and 1.0 wipes nothing. | Don't skip a full folder backup before you update. |
| Want both (compromise) | Fresh save plus Global Palbox transfers for the Pals you pick — move special individuals in small test batches before scaling up. | Don't bulk-transfer unverified special individuals in one go. |
| Play with friends or private servers | Ask the server admin whether import/export is allowed, and follow the upgrade checklist to back up and stop the server first. | Don't assume that Global Palbox is enabled on all servers. |
| Old-save character stuck outside the map | After 1.0 reworked the map, an old save can spawn you outside the new boundary — use Emergency Escape in the options menu to get free. | Don't mistake it for a corrupted save and delete the file. |
Action route after completion
Judge the complete experience, retained results, private server switch and special individuals separately.
Put the Pals you want to keep, want to re-capture or want to check into the local tracking table.
Common misjudgments among returning players
| Misjudgment | Correction method |
|---|---|
| Going the old video route | First look at the system differences after the version breakpoint, and then decide whether to follow the instructions. |
| Use old files to equate to a complete experience | Usability, complete experience and new processes are judged separately. |
| Only combat content is supplemented | The base, production chain, breeding status and tracking table also affect the return experience. |
